Loham narrates the story of Raju (Mohanlal) a taxi driver and Jayanti (Andrea Jeremiah). Jayanti has come from mimbai  with a special purpose and hires Raju's taxi for the ride. The people they come across and the incidents that happen in between their one day long journey is the plot of Loham.
Loham: The Yellow Metal or simply Loham is a forthcoming 2015 Malayalam thriller film written and directed by Ranjith. 

A first look poster was released in June 29, 2015 featuring Mohanlal.

On August 8, 2015, Mohanlal said Loham talks about a serious issue in Kerala and hinted that the story may seem impossible in real life, but then that is cinema for you. He said that there is something unusual in the movie and an even more unusual climax
